Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat case, work areas, and equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about meat products, offering recommendations, and assisting with special orders.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure product freshness.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and minimizing waste.
• Operate department equipment such as slicers, grinders, and scales safely and efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have basic knowledge of meat cuts and preparation methods. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly is required.
