• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and processing special orders.
• Operate department equipment such as slicers, grinders, and scales safely and efficiently.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping floors and sanitizing surfaces.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have basic knowledge of meat cuts and preparation methods. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly is required. Previous experience in retail or food handling is preferred. Kroger provides on-the-job training for food safety certification.
