• Wrap, label, and price meat items accurately using department equipment.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and display cases to uphold Kroger's hygiene standards.
• Assist meat cutters with trimming, grinding, and preparing specialty cuts as directed.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of low stock or quality issues.
• Operate department tools safely, including scales, slicers, and wrapping machines.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have basic knowledge of meat products, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior retail or food handling experience is preferred. Kroger provides training on food safety protocols, including proper handling to prevent cross-contamination.
