Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all meat displays are clean, attractive, and fully stocked with fresh products.
• Operate meat department equipment such as slicers, grinders, and scales safely and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product selection, special cuts, and recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with health and sanitation regulations, including proper temperature control and cross-contamination prevention.
• Assist with inventory management, receiving deliveries, and rotating stock to ensure freshness.
• Support merchandising efforts by creating appealing displays and promoting seasonal meat specials.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment with exposure to cold temperatures in the meat cooler. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and repetitive motions. Part-time and full-time schedules available, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
