As a key member of the store's management team, you will ensure product quality, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety standards while driving sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the meat department team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising of meat products to maintain freshness and availability.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and company policies.
• Provide expert product knowledge to customers and staff, recommending cuts and preparation methods.
• Drive sales through promotions, upselling, and maintaining attractive department displays.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special orders with professionalism.
• Monitor department performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall store operations.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have prior experience in meat department operations or retail management, along with strong leadership abilities. Knowledge of meat cutting, food safety ( ServSafe certification preferred), and inventory systems is essential. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required to thrive in this fast-paced environment.
