• Inspect incoming meat shipments for quality, freshness, and proper temperature, rotating stock to minimize waste.
• Wrap, label, and price meat products efficiently while offering product recommendations and cooking advice to customers.
• Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and merchandising displays to enhance sales and visual appeal.
• Collaborate with department team members and store management to achieve sales goals and uphold Kroger's commitment to fresh, high-quality products.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong knife skills, knowledge of meat cuts, and the ability to work in a refrigerated environment. Physical stamina is essential for lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Prior experience in a meat department or butcher shop is highly preferred.
