Key Responsibilities

• Accurately cut, trim, and prepare various meats including beef, pork, poultry, and seafood according to customer specifications and store standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and tools to comply with health and safety regulations.
• Stock meat cases, label products correctly, and ensure attractive merchandise displays to drive sales.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with meat selections, special cuts, and product recommendations.
• Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock to minimize waste, and order supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety protocols, including proper temperature control, handling, and storage of perishable items.
• Collaborate with department team members to meet daily production goals and promotional needs.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have experience in meat cutting or butchery, knowledge of meat grades and cuts, and the ability to operate cutting tools safely. Physical stamina is required for standing long hours and lifting heavy loads up to 50 lbs. A commitment to food safety and customer satisfaction is essential.

Work Environment
