Key Responsibilities

• Accurately cut, trim, and prepare fresh meat products including beef, pork, poultry, and seafood according to department standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat department, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Assist customers with product selection, offering advice on cuts, preparation methods, and recipes to enhance shopping experience.
• Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock to ensure freshness, and assist in receiving and storing meat deliveries.
• Operate meat processing equipment safely, including grinders, slicers, and saws, while following all safety guidelines.
• Wrap, label, and price meat products accurately for display and sale.
• Collaborate with department team to meet sales goals and execute promotional displays.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong knife skills, knowledge of meat cuts, and the ability to work in a refrigerated environment. Physical stamina is essential for standing long hours and lifting heavy loads up to 50 lbs. Prior experience in meat cutting or butchery is preferred.
