Job Overview

The MFG Lab Tech position at Kroger involves supporting manufacturing operations through laboratory testing, quality control, and data analysis in our state-of-the-art production facilities. As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will ensure product safety, compliance with FDA regulations, and high standards of quality for Kroger's private label and branded goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to verify quality and specifications.
• Perform chemical, physical, and microbiological analyses using advanced lab equipment.
• Record and analyze test data, maintaining accurate logs and reports for quality assurance teams.
• Identify deviations from standards and collaborate with production staff to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and cleanliness to meet safety protocols.
• Assist in method validation, process improvements, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
• Support audits and inspections by regulatory bodies and internal quality teams.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field, with hands-on lab experience. Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards is essential. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment are required.
