Job Overview

The MFG Maintenance Mechanic C - Maintenance - Shift 3 position at Kroger is a critical role within our manufacturing operations, focused on ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment during the third shift. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this full-time position involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery used in food processing and packaging lines. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, ensuring quick resolution to maintain production schedules.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and installation of new machinery components as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repair logs in compliance with FDA and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, and familiarity with PLC troubleshooting. A high school diploma or GED is required, with technical certifications preferred. Strong safety awareness and the ability to work independently on night shifts (Shift 3: typically 11 PM - 7 AM) are essential.
