The MFG Maintenance Mechanic at Kroger plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing facilities. • Utilize diagnostic tools and blueprints to identify root causes of equipment failures.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance during off-peak hours, minimizing impact on operations.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance logs, and parts inventory using CMMS software.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including OSHA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE usage.
• Assist in installing new equipment and upgrading existing systems to improve efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing and root cause analysis.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required for lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various conditions.
