Job Overview

The MFG Maintenance PLC Tech - 3rd Shift position at Kroger involves maintaining and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and associated manufacturing equipment in our state-of-the-art production facilities. This critical role ensures uninterrupted operations during overnight hours, supporting Kroger's commitment to high-quality food production and distribution. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and implement upgrades to optimize machinery performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Program and modify PLC logic using software such as Allen-Bradley RSLogix or Siemens TIA Portal.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions swiftly.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory in CMMS systems.
