Key Role Overview

In this critical role, you will perform comprehensive sanitation tasks to maintain a hygienic production environment compliant with FDA, USDA, and company standards. Duties include cleaning manufacturing equipment, floors, walls, and production areas using industrial cleaning agents and high-pressure systems. You will follow strict sanitation schedules, conduct pre-operational inspections, and document all activities to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Execute deep cleaning of processing lines, machinery, and storage areas during off-shifts.
  • Operate floor scrubbers, foamers, and other sanitation equipment safely.
  • Monitor and mix cleaning chemicals according to safety data sheets (SDS).
  • Perform ATP swabbing and microbial testing to verify sanitation effectiveness.
  • Assist in pest control monitoring and waste management protocols.

  • Operate sanitation machinery such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and foam applicators safely
  • Mix and apply cleaning chemicals per SDS guidelines and dispose of waste properly
  • Document all sanitation activities, report issues, and collaborate with maintenance teams
  • Follow GMP, HACCP, and company hygiene protocols during all shifts
