Key Role Overview
In this critical role, you will perform comprehensive sanitation tasks to maintain a hygienic production environment compliant with FDA, USDA, and company standards. Duties include cleaning manufacturing equipment, floors, walls, and production areas using industrial cleaning agents and high-pressure systems. You will follow strict sanitation schedules, conduct pre-operational inspections, and document all activities to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
Daily Responsibilities
- Execute deep cleaning of processing lines, machinery, and storage areas during off-shifts.
- Operate floor scrubbers, foamers, and other sanitation equipment safely.
- Monitor and mix cleaning chemicals according to safety data sheets (SDS).
- Perform ATP swabbing and microbial testing to verify sanitation effectiveness.
- Assist in pest control monitoring and waste management protocols.
