MFG Sanitation Resource Leader

The MFG Sanitation Resource Leader at Kroger plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our manufacturing facilities. This position ensures compliance with FDA, USDA, and company sanitation protocols to support safe food production across Kroger's extensive network of plants. Reporting to the Sanitation Manager, the leader coordinates daily cleaning operations, trains team members, and implements best practices to prevent contamination and uphold product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee sanitation schedules for production lines, equipment, and facility areas during and after shifts.
• Conduct inspections and audits to verify cleaning effectiveness using ATP swabbing and visual checks.
• Train and mentor sanitation staff on proper chemical usage, PPE, and sanitation techniques.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime while prioritizing hygiene.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage.
• Investigate and resolve sanitation-related issues, documenting findings for continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to HACCP plans, SSOPs, and GFSI standards like BRC or SQF.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have prior experience in food manufacturing sanitation, strong leadership abilities, and knowledge of regulatory requirements. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
