The Mt. Washington Staff Pharmacist at Kroger plays a vital role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our customers in the Mt. Washington community. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on proper usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
• Perform clinical services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and health screenings.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and store management to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, DEA, and state pharmacy board regulations for secure and ethical operations.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must hold a valid PharmD degree and active pharmacist license in Kentucky. Previous retail pharmacy experience is highly preferred. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential for success in this dynamic role.
