Job Overview

The Pharmacy/Certified Technician at Kroger plays a vital role in our pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications, exceptional customer service, and compliance with all regulatory standards. As a key team member in one of America's largest grocery retailers, you will support pharmacists in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in filling and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Process insurance claims and handle customer inquiries regarding medications and services.
• Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Perform data entry for patient records and prescription labels using pharmacy software systems.
• Provide excellent customer service, including over-the-counter recommendations and health advice under pharmacist supervision.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must hold a valid Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) from PTCB or ExCPT. Previous experience in retail pharmacy is preferred. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, and proficiency in computer systems are essential.
