Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process and fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Provide excellent customer service, including counseling on medication use and over-the-counter products.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, controlled substance regulations, and Kroger's safety protocols.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as insurance billing, prior authorizations, and record-keeping.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must hold a valid Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or state equivalent) and complete Kroger's training program. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, and basic computer skills are essential. Previous experience in retail pharmacy is preferred.

Work Environment
