The Pharmacy/Certified Technician position at Kroger is a vital role within our pharmacy operations, supporting pharmacists in delivering exceptional patient care and medication services. Certified Techs assist in dispensing prescriptions, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Process prescription refills, insurance claims, and prior authorizations using pharmacy software systems.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering patient inquiries and offering over-the-counter recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, including HIPAA and controlled substance regulations.
• Perform data entry, labeling, and packaging of medications with attention to detail.
• Support immunization programs and health screenings as directed by the pharmacist.
• Clean and organize the pharmacy workspace to uphold sanitation standards.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must hold active state certification as a Pharmacy Technician and complete Kroger's training programs. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a high-volume setting are essential. Previous experience in retail pharmacy is highly preferred.
