Job Overview

The Pharmacy/Staff Pharmacist at Kroger plays a vital role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to customers in our retail pharmacy locations. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter products.
• Conduct patient consultations to review medication history and provide education on side effects, interactions, and adherence.
• Process insurance claims, prior authorizations, and third-party reimbursements efficiently.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy laws.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceuticals.
• Promote wellness programs, vaccinations, and health screenings offered by Kroger Pharmacy.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must hold a valid Pharmacist license in the state of practice and possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
