• Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards including HIPAA and state pharmacy laws.
• Perform data entry, label medications, and prepare compounds under pharmacist supervision.

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed, you need strong attention to detail, knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, and proficiency in retail pharmacy operations. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or state equivalent) is required, along with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Previous experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting is highly preferred.
