Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-wide pest prevention programs compliant with FDA, USDA, and state health regulations.
• Oversee third-party pest control vendors, conducting audits and performance evaluations to maintain service standards.
• Analyze pest activity data using analytics tools to predict and mitigate risks proactively.
• Collaborate with store operations, supply chain, and facilities teams to integrate pest prevention into daily workflows.
• Develop training programs for associates on pest identification, prevention, and reporting protocols.
• Manage budgets for pest control services, optimizing costs while upholding quality and safety.
• Lead incident response for pest-related issues, coordinating remediation and root cause analysis.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging pests, and innovative prevention technologies.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Entomology, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field, along with 8+ years of experience in pest management within retail or food service industries. A Certified Pest Control Operator (PCO) license and IPM certification are highly preferred. Strong leadership skills, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to travel up to 50% are essential.
