Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in stores, warehouses, and supply chain points.
• Collaborate with facility managers, vendors, and regulatory bodies to execute proactive pest control measures.
• Train staff on best practices for sanitation, monitoring, and early detection of pests.
• Analyze pest trends using data analytics to optimize prevention strategies and reduce costs.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Entomology, Biology, or a related field, with at least 7 years of progressive experience in commercial pest management. Certifications such as Certified Pest Control Operator (PCO) or Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) are required. Proficiency in IPM principles, regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, USDA, state health codes), and enterprise software for reporting is essential. Strong leadership skills and the ability to travel up to 50% are necessary.
