The Starbucks/Assistant Department Leader at Kroger is a dynamic leadership role within our in-store Starbucks coffee shop operations. This position supports the Department Leader in managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales in a high-volume retail environment. As an Assistant Department Leader, you will assist in leading a team of baristas, maintaining inventory, and upholding Starbucks and Kroger brand standards to deliver the perfect cup of coffee and a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Department Leader in all aspects of Starbucks operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Train and coach team members on Starbucks recipes, customer service best practices, and food safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and ensure product freshness and availability.
• Drive sales through upselling techniques, promotions, and creating engaging customer experiences.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant store environment in line with health regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills
