Job Overview
As a Starbucks Barista at Kroger, you will be the face of our Starbucks coffeehouse within our grocery stores, delivering exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality beverages. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and refreshers, following Starbucks recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences, recommend products, and ensure every interaction is positive and memorable.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including brewing equipment, counters, and display cases, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems, and manage cash drawer reconciliations.
- Stock inventory, rotate products to ensure freshness, and assist with merchandising to drive sales.
- Collaborate with store team members to support peak-hour rushes and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Skills and Qualifications
Ideal candidates are energetic, customer-focused individuals with strong multitasking abilities. Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required; comprehensive training is provided. You must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds. Availability for flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, is essential.
