Job Overview

As a Starbucks Barista at Kroger, you will be the face of our Starbucks coffeehouse located within our grocery stores. You will craft high-quality beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a welcoming environment for shoppers. This role combines the energy of a fast-paced coffee shop with the community focus of Kroger's retail operations. Baristas are responsible for delivering the Starbucks Experience by creating moments of connection with every customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and blended beverages, following Starbucks recipes and standards.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and upsell menu items to enhance the shopping experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including equipment sanitation and stock replenishment.
• Handle cash transactions, operate POS systems, and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with store team members to support overall store operations and customer satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, the ability to multitask in a busy environment, and a passion for coffee. Kroger provides training on Starbucks procedures.
