The Starbucks Lead Barista at Kroger is a leadership role within our in-store Starbucks coffee shops, responsible for overseeing daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and mentoring baristas to ensure a premium coffee experience. This position combines hands-on barista duties with supervisory responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of baristas during shifts, assigning tasks and ensuring smooth operations.
• Prepare and serve high-quality Starbucks beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and pastries, while maintaining brand standards.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and conduct stock checks to keep the station fully equipped.
• Train new hires on Starbucks procedures, equipment use, and customer service best practices.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and balance registers accurately at shift end.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally to uphold service excellence.
• Monitor sales performance and upsell products to meet daily targets.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have prior barista experience, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for coffee. Knowledge of Starbucks products and POS systems is highly preferred. This role requires flexibility for varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
