Join Kroger's Supply Chain team as a Summer 2026 Maintenance Intern. This hourly internship offers hands-on experience in maintaining and optimizing distribution center operations. Interns will work alongside experienced maintenance technicians to support the reliability and efficiency of supply chain facilities across Kroger's network.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preventive maintenance tasks on conveyor systems, forklifts, and automated sorting equipment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct inspections and document equipment conditions using CMMS software.
• Support inventory management for maintenance parts and tools.
• Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.

Learning Opportunities

Gain exposure to industrial maintenance in a fast-paced retail supply chain environment. Develop skills in predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and teamwork. Program Details

This 10-12 week summer internship runs from June to August 2026. Positions available at select Kroger distribution centers in the US. Open to current students pursuing degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related fields. No prior experience required; training provided. Hourly pay competitive with retail standards. Housing stipends may be available for eligible locations.
