This hourly internship offers hands-on experience in optimizing supply chain operations across our nationwide network of distribution centers and fulfillment facilities. As a key contributor to our continuous improvement initiatives, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, implement lean methodologies, and drive process enhancements that support Kroger's commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Focus Areas

• Analyze supply chain processes using data-driven approaches to pinpoint bottlenecks and waste.
• Participate in Kaizen events and rapid improvement workshops to foster a culture of continuous enhancement.
• Utilize tools like value stream mapping, 5S, and Six Sigma principles to propose and test process improvements.
• Support inventory management, transportation optimization, and warehouse efficiency projects.
• Gather and report metrics on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cost per unit, and throughput.
