Job Overview

The Warehouse/Maintenance Mechanic at Kroger plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution centers and warehouses. This position involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of mechanical systems and equipment used in warehousing operations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment including conveyors, forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated sorting systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and installation of new equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repair history using CMMS software.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
