Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the wine department, including merchandising, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with alcohol regulations.
• Train and mentor wine stewards on product knowledge, customer engagement techniques, and sales strategies.
• Conduct wine tastings, recommend pairings, and build customer loyalty through personalized service.
• Monitor sales trends, analyze inventory levels, and collaborate with vendors to stock high-demand wines.
• Maintain visual standards, rotate stock to ensure freshness, and uphold store cleanliness and safety protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have prior retail or hospitality experience, with a focus on beverages. Certification such as WSET Level 2 or equivalent is preferred. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting are essential.
