Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Scientist (Level 6) C4ISR Systems Solutions Architect for the Abu Dhabi, UAE location with potential for international business travel across the Middle East nominally 50% of the time. This is a senior role requiring the overall design of C4ISR systems, including the overall network and associated data links, Battle management System (BMS), and the processing, fusion, and dissemination of data from multiple ISR platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. C4ISR Architecture: Develop and design C4ISR architectures that leverage existing customer equipment while integrating cutting-edge technologies to meet specific and evolving customer needs.
  2. Emphasis on Utilizing AI: Integrating artificial intelligence within the C4I space to enhance system capabilities and data analysis.
  3. Driving Strategy for Customer Adoption: Developing and implementing strategies to drive customer adoption of new and modernized C4ISR systems.
  4. Cross-Sector and Cross-Segment Collaboration: Working across various sectors and segments to ensure integrated and cohesive solutions.
  5. Adjacent Technologies Knowledge: Possessing knowledge of adjacent technologies like electronic warfare to enhance the overall system effectiveness.

A key part of this role focuses on the modernization and development of new C4ISR systems to support joint operations. This includes designing the overall network-centric communications architecture, recommending data models for managing ISR data, the associated standards, the data formats to utilize in these new systems, evaluation of the needed analysis tools, and designing interoperable systems that utilize open standards for data exchange. Close coordination with the end users and other engineering disciplines is required to shape and define the requirements, along with the development of proposals and working with third-party vendors/contractors as needed.

This is an opportunity to take on unique challenges, expand your skills and experience, and contribute to mission-critical systems solutions that help protect the U.S.A. and our allies. You will join a great team of talented professionals who take a collaborative approach and enjoy working together.
