Job Description:

A highly skilled and experienced IT business analyst is sought to design and manage our segment/divisional custom application development or our enterprise-level custom application development.  The analyst should align business requirements and strategic objectives.  This role includes translating business needs into technical solutions, overseeing design, collaborating with teams and stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure custom applications.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable architectural solutions for custom applications
  • Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms, including cloud services
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and implementation plans
  • Provide technical guidance to development teams
  • Ensure integration of new applications with existing systems
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Ensure applications comply with security standards and development guidelines
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements
  • Maintain portfolio of segment/divisional or enterprise-level custom applications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in IT custom application development

  • Experience leading teams of developers and managing IT projects
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to align technical solutions with business goals
  • Project Management and organizational skills

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $96,000-$178,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $84,000-$156,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
