Role Overview

The Lab Technician position at Cardinal Health's East Hartford facility is a full-time role offering 40 hours per week on a Monday-Friday schedule, with night shifts starting between 8pm and 4am. Key Responsibilities

As a Lab Technician, your daily contributions will drive production efficiency and product quality. Core duties include:

  • Successfully completing extensive training on manufacturing processes and maintaining proficiency through ongoing assessments.
  • Manufacturing radioactive isotopes, including synthesis setup, hot cell manipulations, and distribution to meet customer needs.
  • Conducting rigorous quality control testing for each batch using advanced equipment like gas chromatographs, dose calibrators, multi-channel analyzers, TLC plate scanners, high-pressure liquid chromatographs, analytical balances, PTS, laminar flow hoods, and fume hoods.
  • Working in ISO 7 cleanrooms to produce product vials and customer-specific vials for drug production.
  • Performing environmental and personnel monitoring across ISO 5, ISO 7, and ISO 8 environments to uphold sterility standards.
  • Coordinating daily production schedules based on pharmacy and customer demands, ensuring timely delivery of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Demonstrating meticulous documentation practices, including maintaining production records, preparing reports, and handling clerical tasks.
  • Managing SAP inventory systems: receiving materials, inspecting for quality, and conducting cycle counts.
  • Executing daily radiation safety protocols and general lab cleaning to maintain a safe workspace.

Qualifications & Requirements
