Position Summary

As a Landman Sr - Upstream in Tulsa, Oklahoma, you'll step into a leadership role that's central to our exploration and development projects. Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you'll lead with expertise and innovation across land operations. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading the strategic analysis, interpretation, and preparation of oil and gas leases and related contracts, ensuring full compliance with legal and operational standards.
  • Overseeing and guiding the review and resolution of title requirements in drilling and division order title opinions, delivering expert analysis and recommendations.
  • Managing and directing coordination with lease brokers to drive land acquisition efforts for exploration and development projects.
  • Monitoring and controlling prospect budgets and expenditures, with full responsibility for calculating working interests and net revenue interests.
  • Negotiating and drafting complex industry agreements, such as joint operating agreements (JOAs), participation agreements, farm-in/farm-out agreements, and purchase and sale agreements.
  • Preparing and executing critical supporting legal documents for asset transactions and joint ventures, maintaining thorough documentation and legal adherence.
  • Training and developing junior landmen, contributing to team growth and knowledge transfer.
  • Handling other duties as assigned in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this Landman Sr role, you'll need a strong educational background and proven experience:
