As Lead Assortment Planner, LATAM, based in Ciudad de México, Mexico, you’ll spearhead consumer demand strategies for Nike’s Digital Channel. Reporting to the Digital Planning Director, you’ll craft multi-season revenue, receipt, and inventory plans. Collaborate with Digital Business, Finance, Merchandising, and Geo Teams in the USA to hit financial targets. This full-time role demands analytical prowess, strategic foresight, and cross-functional leadership to maximize revenue, margin, and inventory productivity in a fast-paced retail environment.
Define and lead multi-season Business Plans at the Sport Level, informing financial forecasts and end-to-end inventory projections. Review upcoming seasonal products to build compelling purchase assortments, blending current trends with strategic growth drivers.
Conduct in-depth analysis for optimized pricing structures, promotional strategies, and inventory movements across channels and Third Party Partners. Identify over- and under-performing styles, developing actionable strategies to enhance marketplace performance.
Make data-driven recommendations to maintain inventory health, capitalize on consumer moments, and execute end-to-end liquidation plans. Proactively communicate results, risks, and opportunities to cross-functional teams and leadership through compelling storytelling.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum 5+ years in merchandising planning, retail planning, or demand planning within dynamic retail or tech sectors.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros. Familiarity with Cognos BI and Tableau preferred. Strong grasp of retail KPIs, data analytics, and business acumen to resolve complex issues collaboratively.
Exceptional communication and influence across matrixed teams. High English proficiency. Ability to thrive in deadline-driven, fast-paced settings with meticulous attention to detail. Proven track record in leading change and achieving results via written and verbal storytelling for diverse audiences.
