As Lead, Brand Creative Seasonal Retail & Experience Designer LATAM at Nike in Ciudad de México, Mexico, you will spearhead visionary creative strategies for immersive retail spaces, brand activations, live events, and pop-ups. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Creative for LATAM, this role bridges global design ethos with local cultural resonance, delivering exceptional consumer experiences that elevate Nike's brand in Latin America.
This full-time position demands a multidisciplinary designer passionate about sports, youth culture, and innovation. You will collaborate with internal teams in Brand Marketing, Retail, Digital, and external partners like agencies, athletes, and retail partners to create storytelling that captivates.
Lead the end-to-end creative strategy and execution for seasonal retail designs, live events, brand activations, and pop-ups. Ensure every project aligns with Nike's global standards while infusing local cultural nuances for maximum consumer impact.
Translate concepts into compelling 2D and 3D presentation materials using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and 3D software. Drive innovation through exploration of materiality, spatial design, proportion, and consumer journeys, championing immersive physical-digital integrations.
Partner closely with Store Development, Retail Brand, Brand Design, Digital, and Comms teams. Manage agency partnerships, vendors, and architectural firms to deliver feasible, high-quality executions within budgets and timelines. Travel 5-15% domestically and internationally to support projects.
Stay ahead of design trends, consumer behaviors, and retail innovations in LATAM. Foster a culture of bold thinking, collaboration, and learning while mentoring creative talent.
To succeed, you need a Bachelor’s degree in architecture, graphic design, industrial design, or environmental design, backed by 6+ years of experience in retail design, brand environments, or experiential marketing. A standout portfolio showcasing immersive retail experiences, spatial design, activations, and storytelling is essential.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and 3D software is required, along with strong visual and verbal communication in English and Spanish (or other territory languages). Deep knowledge of LATAM culture, consumer behavior, and retail landscapes sets top candidates apart. Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and teams under tight deadlines is critical.
