The Lead Coordinator, Learning and Development position at Cardinal Health's Roanoke, TX site is a full-time night shift opportunity (Sunday-Thursday, 6:00pm-2:30am or until finish). Key responsibilities include serving as the go-to contact for all training requests and inquiries at the Roanoke site. You'll conduct essential programs such as New Employee Orientation, Pharma Distribution processes, inbound/outbound department skills, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), and Quality Risk Assessment (QRA). Preparation for new hire classes involves securing classrooms, materials, meals, and setting first-day expectations.
Additionally, you'll deliver standardized learning programs from the Learning Center of Excellence (COE), provide ongoing training for system updates, and log completions in the mySpark Learning Management System. Collaboration with site leadership ensures new hires are job-ready, while championing new technologies like Birdy positions you as a site expert. Feedback loops to the Learning COE drive program improvements, and you'll assist in developing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and peer trainers.
Candidates need a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, with 6 years of business experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office. Flexibility to adjust schedules based on training demands is critical for this night shift role. At this level, expect to demonstrate comprehensive technical knowledge, independent problem-solving, and the ability to apply expertise across areas. Presentation skills, positive feedback delivery, multitasking, and team collaboration round out the profile for success.
