The Lead DE&I for Greater China at Nike oversees the activation of enterprise-wide Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) policies, programs, and initiatives across the region. Based in Shanghai, this strategic role ensures standardization with global teams while tailoring programs to Greater China's unique cultural, legal, and business landscape. As the single point of contact for all DE&I matters, you'll thrive in a matrixed organization, partnering with HR, business leaders, legal, and communications to drive impactful change.
This full-time position demands a blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and cultural fluency. You'll innovate on Employee Resource Group (ERG) activations, ensure legal compliance, and provide talent insights to enhance global programming. If you have 7-9 years of DE&I or HR experience and a passion for inclusion in Greater China, this is your chance to shape Nike's future.
Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders to operationalize Nike's central DE&I strategy, customizing it for Greater China's needs. Provide geo-specific insights to the enterprise team for more inclusive global programs. Collaborate with local legal teams to align policies with regional laws, advising on necessary updates and ensuring full compliance.
Work with communications to adapt leadership visits and messaging to Greater China's culture. Innovate on ERG programming, making it impactful locally while aligned enterprise-wide. Identify external partnerships with Sports Culture Initiatives (SCI), Talent Acquisition (TA), and Organizational Development (OD) teams.
Build trusted relationships with HRBPs, managers, employees, and ERG leaders. Proactively plan events, anticipate roadblocks, and embed data-driven metrics to measure success. Manage external relationships and represent Greater China in global DE&I meetings.
