Role Overview

As Lead, Direct Revenue Accounting Close and Reporting, you'll be at the heart of Nike's North America revenue operations. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete, accurate financial statements through robust internal controls and reporting compliance.
• Communicate accounting risks, considerations, and conclusions effectively to diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Collaborate across Global/NA Controlling, Finance, Planning, Retail Operations, and Technology on system implementations, process improvements, and standardization efforts.
• Conduct operational and systemic testing for emerging transactions and models.
• Navigate evolving business landscapes to evaluate and conclude on accounting matters.
• Liaise with Managed Service Providers for flawless transaction processing and essential training.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent education, experience, and training).
• 6+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting within a large, complex multinational organization.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification (preferred).

• Deep understanding of US GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Proven ability to translate business strategies into financial impacts.
