Key Responsibilities at Rivian

• Lead supplier industrialization and readiness for all commodities, ensuring production scalability.
• Manage complete ownership of supplier quality through the full lifecycle—from initial sourcing, development, tooling, industrialization, product launch, and ongoing management.
• Support Purchasing in supplier selection via audits and technical reviews.
• Ensure supplier APQP meets quality and timing for PPAP approvals.
• Collaborate with design release engineers, quality teams, and program managers for seamless PPAP sign-offs.
• Interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing processes while supporting metrology and inspection.
• Escalate unresolved quality issues and report on critical KPIs like PPM and warranty performance.
• Coordinate PPM management, on-time problem-solving, cost recovery, and supplier warranties.
• Participate in cross-functional teams for new product development and changes to meet customer requirements.
• Travel 50-70% to supplier sites in Mexico for hands-on oversight.
