The Lead, Experience Production, NA role at Nike in New York, New York, is a high-impact leadership position within the North America Brand Creative team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Production, you will drive end-to-end execution of world-class live productions and consumer experiences. From initial brief intake through creative development, fabrication, build, and live programming, you will ensure every project aligns seamlessly with Nike's seasonal and long-term marketing objectives.
As a results-driven problem solver and master communicator, you bridge creative vision with technical execution. This role owns medium-to-large-scale productions in partnership with Creative and Brand Management teams, delivering immersive experiences that captivate audiences and elevate the Nike brand.
Take full ownership of the project lifecycle, including facilitating outreach, negotiations, budget management, and contract execution. Navigate complex timelines to deliver flawless results on time and within scope.
Source and manage premier external partners such as fabrication shops, creative agencies, and programming vendors. Draft comprehensive Scopes of Work (SOWs), review detailed budgets, and oversee relationships from onboarding to project wrap-up.
Lead stakeholder reviews with Brand Planning, Creative Planning, Finance, Legal, and more. Collaborate with producers across Retail, Content, Sports Marketing, and Energy Marketing to ensure unified brand experiences.
Direct installations, establish Run-of-Show (ROS) documents, and manage production partners during live events, guaranteeing operational excellence and safety.
To succeed in this role, Nike seeks candidates with 7+ years of experience in live consumer experience production, scenic fabrication, and creative project management. Deep industry expertise in live programming and content capture within experiential environments is essential.
Demonstrate operational excellence through expert-level SOW drafting and reconciliation of complex production budgets. Proven strategic coordination skills for managing intricate cross-functional projects are required. You must be a high-impact leader, mentor for Producers and Coordinators (no direct reports), and adept at partnering with Experience Directors across geographies.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills are non-negotiable. Experience in high-profile brand activations, especially in retail/tech sectors, will set you apart. Familiarity with Nike's brand ecosystem or similar premium lifestyle brands is highly valued.
