Key Responsibilities at Rivian

• Manage supplier development: Build and nurture strategic relationships with industrial automation and equipment suppliers.
• Identify and assess: Scout technologies, evaluate supplier capabilities, and craft sourcing plans with stakeholders.
• Lead sourcing events: Oversee strategic sourcing, supplier interfacing, and resolve complex manufacturing disputes.
• Steer negotiations: Execute Purchase Agreements and Statements of Work through expert contractual negotiations.
• Drive Capex projects: Support design, execution, and lifecycle management of new factories with manufacturing engineering.
• Negotiate value: Use detailed data analysis to secure cost savings and commercial advantages.
• Monitor performance: Track capex spend, forecasts, risks, and KPIs with Finance and first-principles approach.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Program Management to hit milestones and track progress.
• Communicate strategically: Brief senior leadership on supplier, technology, and investment decisions.
• Build models: Develop should-cost models, budgets, and technology roadmaps.

Qualifications & Requirements
