Role Overview

  • Build compelling business cases with ROI and TCO analyses for EDI modernization efforts like mapping template libraries and self-service onboarding.
  • Lead the squad’s backlog management, including Epics, Features, Stories, sprint goals, and release plans, ensuring high-quality delivery with quantifiable outcomes.
  • Oversee STTM mapping design and governance, enforcing naming conventions, versioning, reuse, and comprehensive test coverage.
  • Partner with engineering on IBM Sterling EDI configurations, trading partner setups, envelopes, agreements, routing, and non-functional requirements like scale, reliability, and security.
  • Interface directly with Nike customers to gather integration requirements, conduct fit-gap assessments, and communicate feasibility based on existing capabilities.
  • Own EDI standards for X12/EDIFACT transaction sets (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, 940, 945, 997/999, CONTRL) and acknowledgment workflows.
  • Define and maintain canonical data models and mapping guidelines between EDI transactions and internal systems like OMS, WMS, TMS, and ERP.
  • Drive advancements in error handling, reprocessing, alerts, observability, and health metrics reporting.
