The Lead Salesforce Engineer role within our Go-to-Market (GTM) Applications team is pivotal in driving CrowdStrike's growth. Positioned in the Core Tech, GTM IT Apps Team, you'll collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, business systems analysts, and product owners to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure. This remote position focuses on elevating the Salesforce platform's security, performance, and integrations, ensuring seamless operations that accelerate business velocity. As Lead Salesforce Engineer, you'll own the platform's security architecture, scalability, and next-gen experiences, directly supporting CrowdStrike's mission to stop breaches through operational excellence.
In this leadership role, you'll take full accountability for the Salesforce instance's platform and security. Enforce robust security architecture, including data security, authentication, and authorization models. Implement and manage security tools like encryption, audit logging, and scanning within Salesforce. Oversee org performance, scalability, and health, driving platform-level optimizations. Hands-on development includes building and fixing Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Aura, and Visualforce for enhanced performance and security. Collaborate with IT Security, Compliance, and engineering teams to align policies. Adhere to CI/CD best practices, suggest improvements, and build modern integrations like Slack Apps and agentic experiences while retiring legacy systems. Develop ties with Salesforce Customer Success Architects for ongoing optimization, and mentor junior developers through code reviews and guidance.
To excel as our Lead Salesforce Engineer, bring 8+ years of experience in Salesforce application development and 3+ years in refactoring or platform improvement projects. Deep knowledge of all Salesforce configuration types and their performance implications is essential. Hold Platform App Builder and Platform Developer certificates. Bonus for advanced certifications like Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect. Your expertise in security, scalability, and integrations will be key in this remote role supporting CrowdStrike's Falcon platform ecosystem.
Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce security models sets top candidates apart, ensuring you can lead GTM applications to new heights.
