Role Overview

As Lead Software Engineer - Change Engineering at Nike's ITC in Bangalore, you'll spearhead release management, automation, and AI-driven processes. This full-time role demands a servant leader with deep expertise in AIOps, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline deployments, minimize risks, and accelerate feature delivery for Nike's digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall governance, planning, coordination, and execution of software releases in an agile environment.
• Design and implement automation frameworks using NightwatchJS, NodeJS, Playwright, Cypress, and mobile tools like XCUITest and Espresso.
• Leverage AI/ML platforms including Databricks, Azure AI, LangChain, and GPT-4o to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure with EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch for scalable automation.
• Establish governance policies, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers on best practices.
• Participate in proof-of-concepts, pilot platforms, and post-release support activities.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years in software development, with 2+ years in Change & Release Management preferred.

Technical Expertise

Hands-on with AIOps, RPA, open-source automation for web/mobile, AI/ML tools (LangChain, MLFlow, Llama), testing frameworks (Playwright, TestCafe, Nightwatch), CI/CD (Jenkins), AWS services, REST APIs, and Agile methodologies.

Soft Skills

Superior communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven problem-solving, independent initiative, and mentoring abilities.
