As Lead Transportation Analyst in Toronto, Ontario, you'll be the generalist driving end-to-end transportation for Nike's Canada marketplace. This full-time role requires weekly on-site presence split between Nike's Canadian Headquarters (CHQ) and the Brimley Distribution Center. Partner with Last Mile teams, carriers, Tech, Analytics, and Planning to optimize operations, lead reporting, and support strategic sourcing. Manage First, Middle, and Last Mile networks for stores, wholesale, and e-commerce. Stand up e-commerce fulfillment capabilities, resolve carrier issues as primary contact, and execute holiday strategies. Oversee carrier performance (cost/service metrics), inbound inventory optimization, forecast alignment, equipment management, and dwell time improvements.
Lead initiatives in logistics, digital fulfillment, and systems like TMS, Pool/Warehousing, and Transportation Solutions. Coordinate with Marketplace Supply Chain (MSC), Distribution Centers (DCs), and global teams on timelines, deliverables, and KPIs. Support new digital order models in Canada.
Build the foundation for a future Transportation team by identifying needs, establishing processes, reports, and tools for 1-2 year horizons. Foster curiosity, continuous improvement, and talent development for succession planning.
We're seeking candidates with 6+ years in large-scale logistics/transportation, including cross-functional collaboration with finance and marketing. You must be a proven leader and individual contributor who spearheads strategy and execution, embraces change, and excels in root-cause analysis. Key traits: dynamic strategic thinking, process development, deficiency analysis, and talent identification. Experience in high-volume operations like Nike's is a plus.
