Leidos is seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Data Scientist to support an enterprise IT program for an Intelligence Community client in McLean, VA. As the sole data scientist on the team, you'll leverage your expertise in data architecture, AI/ML, and database programming to deliver innovative solutions with real-world impact. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct complex data analysis with advanced analytics, AI techniques, and ML algorithms to drive insights and decision-making.
- Design research studies, acquire/analyze large datasets, and build statistical models to uncover trends and patterns.
- Collaborate with internal/external partners to close intelligence analysis gaps and enhance analytical capabilities.
- Develop data/metadata policies, monitor database tech trends, and provide strategic technical recommendations.
- Oversee database design, performance evaluation, risk analysis, and integration of new technologies into metadata structures.
- Diagnose/resolve complex data infrastructure issues and ensure seamless data migration across cloud, physical, and web-based systems like AWS, Oracle, and SharePoint.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience in data science, architecture, or related fields.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL, Java, AWS, BASH, Linux (CENTOS/Rocky preferred), Oracle, JIRA, Git, and Nexus.
- Proven database programming experience and strong communication skills for independent and team-based work.
