Make a real impact at Leidos, where innovative solutions drive customer success in the Digital Modernization Sector. Support the FAA Western Service Center in Des Moines, WA, on the NISC IV program, reviewing airspace changes, NAS impact analysis, aviation noise studies, and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver SME analysis on NAS impacts from proposed airspace modifications.
  • Provide technical support for complex airspace challenges.
  • Analyze flight tracks and model scenarios with airspace tools.
  • Perform statistical trend/root cause analysis and develop reports/presentations.
  • Track documents, engage in community involvement, and coordinate FAA processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Professional Controller (CPC).
  • BS + 4 years or Masters + 2 years relevant experience (substitutable).
  • Public Trust eligibility (U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident, 3/5 years residency).
  • Staff experience in document preparation.
  • FAA structure familiarity.
