Application Engineer - Leidos UK Defence Team

We're expanding our UK technical team to support the PITSM Programme, focusing on Geospatial capabilities vital to UK and partner nation defence. Based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, this full-time onsite role requires DV clearance and offers a chance to advance in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain application baselines across multiple domains, ensuring mission-critical updates for operational users.
- Collaborate with Core Services, Agile Change Teams, 2nd/3rd line engineers, subcontractors, and MOD resolver groups for seamless information flow.
- Deliver small and large application upgrades in fixed and deployed environments under Technical Lead guidance.
- Provide technical support, integrate with ITAM for obsolescence management, and optimize via new technologies.
- Perform diagnostics, debugging, code improvements, and document processes/version histories.
- Support deployments, patches, and accreditation via MODCERT processes while reviewing hardware/software impacts.
