Key Responsibilities
- Assemble components into rocket structures adhering to NASA standards, verified via Laser Tracker.
- Perform fit-up, hand drilling with jigs, and install fasteners like bolts, screws, and hi-Loks.
- Measure parts using calipers, tape measures, scales, and Leica laser equipment with Spatial Analyzer Software.
- Apply touch-up and stencil paints; interpret drawings, specs, and work instructions.
- Assist in composite process development, inventory management, and quality communication.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED with 2-4 years experience.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, GD&T, and 3D models; AS9102 reporting.
- Hands-on tool experience; ability to lift 50 lbs and work at 40 ft heights.
- Strong PC skills (Excel, Word) and team communication.
Preferred Skills
- AS9100 environment experience; composite layups/repairs.
- Aerospace/defense background; Leica AT960/AT403/ATS600 operation.
